Rock Climbing

The history of Rock Climbing in Paklenica started in early 1938 with a tragic death of Dragutin Brahm. He tried to climb Anića kuk wall. On the same route Marijan Dragman and Slavo Brezovečki succeed in 1940. In the honor of Dragutin Brahm that route is called Brahm's Route.

Today is Paklenica National Park the most visited climbing center in Croatia with about 400 marked routes from grad 3 to 8b+. The biggest climbing event is organized each year around May - International Climber's Meeting with a different competitions.

In Starigrad you can also rent climbing equipment and rent a professional guides.
